Organizing guitar Effects Pedal board?
Effects: your boss guitar> -2 tuner, llorona, Digitech Whammy 4, ProCo Vintage Rat, green od screamer bbe, behringer eq, phase 90, behringer Digital Delay> MXR Ampeg VT-120 amps, it seems that the phaser does not work well in this order - it is only perceptible when the handle is turned to 2 am and up. no clue, the recommendations are welcome - thanks in advance
The best way to find the best sound with this pedal (or any other pedal for that matter) is to be tested in different positions in their effects on the string and listen carefully to the results. Do not be afraid to experiment with this until you find the best place for the tone you're looking for. It will not damage the equipment to address this, but be sure to turn off the amplifier before you start disconnecting and plugging in cables. better "hold" on a tube / valve amplifier is so constantly turning on / off drain Tube Amplifier / life valve. I suggest you start by putting the Mxr Phase 90 before the distortion and overdrive pedals and see how it sounds. Try before and after the 4 Whammy Digitech. It depends on what the sound is pursuing. It helps to think in terms of what kind of signal you want. This will help set the order of what you want make the signal. For example, do you want a distorted signal phase or signal distortion stages. Both give a different sound, so try them both, placing the phaser before and after the distortion so I suggest you also use the line input and output on the back of your amplifier for the digital delay to get the clearest sound. But as always the common thread here is that sounds best to you, in front of the AMP, or going through the Effects Loop. The rest of the effects usually are more suitable to enter the amplifier input. So the above example string be: you> Guitar Boss tu> -2 Tuner, Crybaby, MXR Phase 90, Digitech Whammy 4, ProCo Vintage Rat, OD Green Screamer BBE, Behringer EQ,> Ampeg vt-120 Amp <loop effects / Behringer Digital Delay But as I say do not hesitate to change the order of pedals everything (with the amp in standby mode). Use your ear as the main guide and do not adhere to a particular order, because I read somewhere. Each individual case is different. Greetings and good luck with that, let us know how you get on with it ... ps guitanorak That seems like a good amp you have. Anything tube / valve gets my thumb up:)!
