Tuning a Schecter Guitar Tuners with blocking?
I know people have posted similar, but I'm only bothered to read through all them, also not very familiar with all the technical terms. so just got a Schecter Damien FR and has Locking Tuners. I do not know what / If all else. I have to adjust [soonish] down to drop D, can someone walk me through that? I think Ive got it, but decided to ask ill just to be sure Cheers, Ive just read Stfne a floating bridge, which is what I've Schecter, are ridiculously difficult to refine, a chain of strip down all Case of Wack-please tell me is not true, that there is an easier way to pitch?
First I have a Schecter C-1 Hellraiser with Floyd Rose and it that are a pain to tune. However, rarely go out of tune and can do fun things with them, so for me it's worth. Secondly if you like drop D much, you're in luck because unless D can fall to the end with only the fine tuners at the end of the bridge, you have to tune Your Guitar every time. The bridge maintained by the chains themselves so that if one becomes too tight to bring up the bridge, ruining all other chains. To restring, do one at a time. If breaks the chain of E, the change that then adjust, then repeat. Retune after each channel change. Hope this helps and perhaps it should receive a new guitar or guitars if you like to change to D tune a lot.
