What should I use to clean the fingerboard of the guitar?
I have an Ibanez RG Series Guitar. I think it is maple, but not sure. if you know my guitar, I just need to know what to use with household items. Steele I have no wool or anything like that. as cotton and water? alcohol friction? something. thanks
Hi, I agree with the first answer that you should not use steel wool. You should not use anything abrasive to clean the fretboard. If his dishes have become boxes that need to use sandpaper, files and steel wool to restore the dishes. However, simply do not use abrasive cleaning nothing. I do not agree with the first answer and I think you should not use alcohol to clean the fretboard. The alcohol dries the wood and can damage the pitch. Fretboards are usually made of maple (light color), rosewood (dark color) and ebony (even darker). If you have a light color maple fingerboard is very likely.
