Dimmer switch plates missing? How to install a new one?
Ive moved to a new house and I noticed the top Cover Plate of a voltage regulator not found. Everything is on the left is a white plastic plate with a black stick that lights turn on and off the light. Do I need to buy a new white plastic cover plate or i can update with a chrome or steel? Is it easy to convert my old switch room (no dimmer) to a voltage regulator or need a electrician?
The above advice is good. However, eventually going to have to get rid of the switches of the regulator. The EC was determined that we should all use long life bulbs. At the moment there is no security that can be used with dimmer.
