What is the difference between a normal startup and a fat start?
Can anyone tell me what is the difference between a normal start and a beginning fat, also a Telecaster and a Stratocaster because I've seen this guitar: Squier Standard Fat Start and it looks good so can someone tell me if it's good or not? I've been playing a BC Rich Warlock bronze Series Guitar that is right for me?
First, no one can tell what the guitar is right for you. have to go and put the piece of wood in your hands and touch the thing. everyone feels it seriously. Now on the subject of electronics, most likely want something with good definition (out of BC Rich's statement here ...) and the top and bottom, right? may be time to consider replacing the pads on your warlock. In Then you just want to go to "ear" of shopping and see what you like. now for the home. a normal startup has 3 Single Coil pickups, while a fat start has a humbucker in the bridge, giving a much more substantial then a coil of bridge. Television stations, however, have two single Coil Pickups and a more bell-like sound, then a home (which is debatable, both have Great Tone, change is mostly in the body and wood that is made of). As for the quality of a Squier: If you have played a fender, a squier sounds bad. period. electronics are sub-par (as in switches, potentiometers, connectors, and vans), and overall labor leaves much to be desired. low-level defenses are much better in quality, and only about $ 400 - $ 500. But remember, it's all about the feel and sound, not the name on the headstock. Party man.
