Want to share your secrets for cleaning the brush after use with a satin finish and gloss paints.?
I prefer not to use solvents or alcohol, do not want to ruin my kitchen sink. And how to keep soft brushes after cleaning? I know many of these paintings are water-based paints solvent, but would like your ideas please? That would be kind of her wicked way would be greatly appreciated. My husband has a bad habit of not cleaning up brushes properly after using them and I fried up.
I have a neat little thingie that you put on your electric drill (purchased in the United Kingdom). You get your paint brush (or roller) at the end of it, then pop it into a bucket of age, in turn exercise and outside painting comes - sticks on the sides of the cube (which I use for the same purpose again and again) and your brush or roller can be felt as new! rapid washing brushes in soapy water to shine and then - did the job! Very easy, uses very little water and much less hassle. I'll see if I can find where available - unless anyone knows if s is?
