Guitar Effects to work with a bass?
I just bought a bass and was curious if I could use the pedal, such as flanges, overdrive, tube screamers, or any other pedal with my bass without ruining them. I have a Boss Blues Driver, Johnson flange, Dinosaur distortion and a Digitech RP100. Can anyone give me some idea? Please do not just guess! If you really do not know, please do not answer that!
Yes, absolutely you can use the effects, but the question is not is the ability ... the question is about tone and definition. Justin Chancellor used the tool more guitar effects with a low of what I'm comfortable, but all sound great! The problem of distortion or overdrive is that many times, if a Guitar Pedal anticipated, massively lose low-end and get a very poor and weak sound. Of course there are ways to get around it, I use a Boss DS-1 Distortion Pedal with my bass. I adjust the knobs and use my Bass EQ pedal to increase low range for a considerable amount of my preference, but it is feasible. Video output of this man ...
