my dog lost his hair in two small round spots (size of nickel), reaction to the vaccine?
Hello. I have a small cup poodle girl tea with some sort of adverse reaction to vaccination. A few weeks ago I noticed dry skin and when I found that there were two points bad crust and lack of hair (nickel size). I took her to the vet and he said it was a reaction to the shots back in September, but that she was healing. It seems these evil burns because their skin is losing and I'm not sure her hair will grow back [because of the appearance and texture]. Is this normal? Can react Two different vaccines [two different areas], at the same time? He gave 5 shots that day = (. Any suggestions?
FIVE?!? No wonder that his dog had a reaction! What all was given to your dog? Your veterinarian can be a Grubber money or very old school! A little house dog only needs to parvo, distemper, adenovirus and influenza. That's all given as a combination shot. Course of rabies vaccines are needed, too. Some boarding kennels, dog day cares, stress etc. Bordetella (kennel cough), but is a highly effective vaccine, with more side effects than most. Had to be avoided if possible. Simply because there lots of vaccine available does not mean that everyone is right for every dog. The new research shows that our dogs are vaccinated and less is better. Find a veteran of more forward looking.
