What are the essentials to have for Guitar Effects? What are the best?
I would say that a delay Pedal Wah, distortions, etc. are all musts. What are the essential guitar effects have and what are the best classes? I have a MXR Carbon Copy delay Vox v865 wah? MXR Distortion Pedal, and ummm that's all.
I use separate pedals .. I do not care for the effects of several of the pedals. My tail .. This order is .... Mxr Dyna Comp MXR Distortion + Ibanez Tube Screamer Boss Chorus Boss Digital Delay Boss Tremolo Wah Wah I love ".. as long as its not over done ... mainly because it is a great generator tone ... you do not have to step on them all the time. My old wah wah pots has become a bit nosiy lately, so have not been using ... but must be the first in any string. The overdrive and distortion pedals usually must be after your wah wah, followed by time-delay devices .. as chorus, delay, Tremolo's etc. .., at the end of the chain. If I could only have one pedal .. would be a Tube Screamer ... followed by a delay or reverb in my humble opinion .... Or of course, the best effect, is practicing until your fingers bleed! Have fun!
