I have a rawhide strap to the mandolin and smells musty, solutions on how to get the smell?
This is a new soft leather and I do not want than the damage, but I'm having a hard time using it with this smell!
Get a little saddle soap to clean oil then work with mink him. Mink Oil is a paste you can buy shoe polish is sold anywhere and work well with leather products waterproof.
