Led Zeppelin
Led Zeppelin

Robert Plant's biography begins with his usual time Led Zeppelin, but although he was only 20 when he started singing for the band famous, already had a taste of the music business, recording for CBS Records and pushing through the scene of the British band. A great lover of blues music, was thrilled when former Yardbirds guitarist Jimmy Page asked him to help build a new blues Rock Band - the group that became Led Zeppelin style singing. Robert Plant was much more than many of his contemporaries, and he used his vocal skills rise to great effect in describing the mythological figures and fantasy lands, often wrote about his lyrics. Unlike other acute warblers of his generation, he was not a screamer, and even when at their most animated he never gave his voice a tone lasts.
For many, Robert Plant represented the "golden god" of 1970, which is a rock and roll. Often appear on stage with his shirt open to reveal a tanned chest, and with her long golden curls flying behind him, the plant was known for his sexual prowess and intense party. Hedonistic streak continued in this until 1975 when a terrible car accident that seriously injured him and his wife made him rethink his worldview whole. He became more introspective and less interested in taking these extreme risks had been a feature of his previous lifestyle. The death of his son two years later he also did much to change the musical direction of the band, although they would release more after only one studio album that point in time.
After the breakup of Zeppelin, Plant disco actively pursued, although harder edge sound that had dominated of his previous band, was largely replaced with more pop sensibility. He succeeded in an informal sense, but was never able to reconnect with the fans in the same manner as he had done previously. Led Zeppelin was largely a matter of the whole being greater than the sum of either party. The biography of Robert Plant in turn, more and more to collaborate with his former songwriting partner Jimmy Page in the second half of his career, and together with John Paul Jones who occasionally perform as Led Zeppelin, despite completely Plant refused to consider any type of extended trip.

As it turned out, Led Zeppelin's infamous 1969 debut album was indicative of the decade to come--one that, fittingly, this band helped define with its decadently exaggerated, bowdlerized blues-rock. In shrieker Robert Plant, ex-Yardbird Jimmy Page found a vocalist who could match his guitar pyrotechnics, and the band pounded out its music with swaggering ferocity and Richter-scale-worthy volume... |
