Hot rodded Seymour Duncan Humbucker Set, Nickel Normal, or Gold?
I found the Normal Hot rodded Seymour Duncan Humbucker Set $ 130USD I found the same but gold nickel $ 180USD Is it really worth an extra $ 50 for the gold? Now I realize how strange that my guitar seems to be Limited Edition not know if I will even replace them ... ahhh alternative options. I dun want to have to buy a new guitar to sound even better =.=
Hi, I have been exploring the world of the substitution recent collection via web forums, S. Duncan 's website / forum, and eBay. For his guitar (which is a beauty), I personally would gold pickups covered to keep the style of the ax. I believe I read somewhere on a forum that has a slight (slight) difference in the sound, but do not quote me on that. now I'm off the same question the thinking of replacing the pickups in my Epi Sheraton and / or Epi Les Paul Custom. It's a little more expensive, but .... .... 1. If the exchange of trucks, Situtation want to be a relatively permanent (I'm not a luthier and have the $ $ to replace the pads every few months in search of perfect pitch, which may be unreachable). 2. I think it looks cosmetics are important to the guitar. You can also investigate humbuckers, gold cheaper covered by Guitar Fetish, Allparts.com, or Stewart McDonald.
