How to remove print head on my electric guitar?
Print is the website from where I bought the guitar. It is very big I do not like.
Most electric guitars have a layer of lacquer. Try using lacquer thinner. This should dissolve the enamel (if coated lacquer) and the printing must go. If the guitar is poly-coated sand you may need to print and repainting of the head. Use colored tape (blue) to mask around the print so it will not spoil the area where you do not want to remove the finish. Be patient, take your time. After removing the printing, sand the area to 400 grain wet / dry and repainting either lacquer or poly. After the finish is dry (24 hours) of sand with 2000 particles and Polish with an automatic polishing compound. The other thing you can do is go to an auto parts store and get a small can of spray paint used to touch up the paint on cars (which should be able to find a match head). After masquerading as above, painting over the print. Put 3 layers of clear coat on the higher (let dry) and sand with 2000 grit paper and polished than the last. The sand paper and polishing compound can reach the auto parts store. This is how one varnish Les Paul Electric fracture after repairing the head that had broken into the nut, as a result of falling outside the guitar. Good luck.
