Epiphone Les Paul Custom elitist or Gibson Les Paul Standard?
If I had to choose between an elitist Custom Epiphone (top line Epi) Standard or Gibson (bottom line Gibson), which would you choose?
I would go with that play and sound better. A higher end Epi more likely to have more extras than the Gibson, but how sound and feel? Also you need the extras in the Epi? This is how I choose. I've played High End Gits shop were dogs and low-end that were impressive. I'll get the best sound and playability of my money and then see the manufacturer and extras. I hope that helps.
