One Stratocaster made in Japan in 1988/1989 - Nice or bad??? What do you think is the value of one like this?
Hello, I would buy a Fender Stratocaster made in Japan in 1988/1989. You think it's good or bad? I have heard that there were some years when the STRATS produced in Japan was as good as U.S. loved. What do you think is the value of the guitar? Sells for $ 458.15. I live in Germany and it costs 350 euros. What do u think? Thanks for your answers! Ahh and I hope my English is good 
Those that were made in Japan were better than those made in Mexico. But I would not pay more than U.S. $ 300.00 it. I think it would be a good guitar, but not a top United States did. No, does not compare with the U.S. did initially. Totally different wood and pickups. You will pay big $ $ $ to start a good American. Stratocaster guitars are my fav as the fingers have to work much more difficult for Gibson to get that startup sound sweet. Makes a better player!
