Order of Effects Pedals on my pedalboard?
Recently built a Pedal Board and pedals have foreseen what I will buy and what is space. However, I need to know the chain of command to please read them in my first setup: I have every reason to rely on this site is google for hours because I have not provided information be useful to my team (mainly by the fact that no two "guides" are the same). So here are the pedals: Dunlop Crybaby Digitech Ibanez Flanger Whammy Boss DD-20 Digital Delay MicroVibe Voodoo Lab Tremolo MXR EVH Phaser BOSS Fuzz Fulltone '70 I also have another problem: the power of my pedals. Now same, I am using a 1-Spot adapter and a Daisy Chain with 5 plugs so you can feed the 4 pedals I have, but in future I need something more powerful (on 18v primarily due to the DD-20). So I put a strip of power in my pedal and go with the adapters, or should I go for something more powerful and compact as a Dunlop DC brick? Any help is appreciated.
Keith's suggestion to move distorted Cleaning is totally incorrect. The fact that he knows of Whammy Crybaby is a clue. If I did that you would be taking his bridle and distort it is far from being the effect of your future. Or again, maybe it is. That's the fun of all. You have to find the sound that inspires you. That said ... Here is my suggested order. Anything that causes a time delay be the Last One may seem very strange in any other place (eg distorting reverb). Any Distortion Effect must be first for the other effects are running in their initial pitch. 1.Fulltone well that ... Fuzz 2.Whammy 3.Crybaby 4-6. Microvibe / Phaser / Tremolo (must play with 7). Flanger 8. Delay
