Duncan Alnico
Expert guitar. Alnico Classic humbuckers against Seymour Duncan.?
well. my cousin is giving me the guitar because it has 13 .. its an Epiphone Les Paul with alnico humbuckers. people have told me I have to switch to Gibsons or Seymour Duncan. metal i respect, but not my style .. Seymour've heard are Very Good at that style. .. I do not know how a classic alnico sounds or behaves .. can you describe the sound of any of these? What if I like the alnico and I switch to Seymour .. and I like? Does anyone know of an artist in humbukers Relys alnico classic, so you can look and listen? thanks.
As for the trucks, you have basically three things to see. One, what was done? Alnico and ceramic are the two most common types of magnet. Alnico is usually given more than one crop, the softest sound, while pottery is generally warmer, triple, and more nervous. What configuration are the coils? Single Coil vs. humbucker. Individual coils have tinnitus, but also have a lot of sweet high-end treble. Humbuckers do not have buzz, but when the cancellation tinnitus, a number of acute also canceled. How hot is it? The more windings of a truck has, over the signal coming out, but the less high-end treble response it has. Needless to say, Overwound (very hot) ceramic humbuckers are favored by many in the community of metal, while lower output alnico Single Coils tend to be favored by blues players. These are stereotypical generalizations - exceptions abound. It's not fair to lump a mark in a genre - Seymour Duncan Pickups can be used for any style of music .... that I have a couple dozen different varieties, for petes sake. Your JB humbucker is a classic "All Around" puppy, the Hot Rails "are puppies that sound and look like single coils, but no hum, and" Livewire "is a series of assets that sound better than pills the EMG. MFG truck Others have their own bus lines, too. Research before you buy - you will be fine. Saul
