In its relatively short existence, the Breedlove Guitar Company has earned a well deserved reputation for High Quality, easily reproducible tools.

These quality instruments, however, also come with a rather high price, but the company is trying to reach a wider audience with its announced series "Pro" of guitars, including acoustic C25/CR spike. The C25/CR is a guitar you can buy for the price of an imported instrument, but certainly is "Custom Shop" quality.

The Pro Series models are built in the U.S., while the parts are machined in Korea. Despite measures to reduce costs, these lower cost models share many of the same features as the United States Breedlove instruments only. From Breedlove is proud of your customizations, some of the savings derived by excluding some of those options. For example, in the Pro Series, players can choose from Cedar or Sitka Spruce Tops, as well as numerous electronic configurations, but the options are fixed differently. However, the quality, the appointments of the guitar, with the peg in and finish quality abalone rosette, are solid and should satisfy the most demanding player.

Breedlove's C25/CR spike is a concert-sized instrument with a beautiful Cedar Top and rosewood sides and back equally attractive. It has an ebony fingerboard and a Slim, One Piece mahogany neck. It is comfortable playing with a "1" nut. The chair is spaced at 2 ", fingerstyle and therefore flatpickers be equally satisfied with the instrument.

Visually, the spike C25/CR Breedlove is obviously cut from the same level as the highest models Breedlove. The cutting head badge and, together with the PIN, the bridge wings to make clear what brand you are playing guitar, despite the cost more affordable.
